Jobs policy

Advertise work responsibly

ApnaMate Jobs is for genuine work. Employers remain responsible for compliance with the Fair Work Act, awards, agreements, anti-discrimination laws and any licensing requirements.

Genuine work only

The role must exist, the advertiser must be authorised to recruit for it and the title, duties, location, engagement type and employer identity must be accurate.

Lawful pay and conditions

Advertisements must not offer pay below applicable minimum entitlements or misrepresent employment as contracting, volunteering, commission-only work or an internship to avoid workplace obligations.

No applicant fees

Do not ask an applicant to pay to apply, interview, start work, unlock earnings or receive equipment. Do not ask for gift cards, cryptocurrency, money transfers or use of the applicant’s bank account.

Fair access

Do not unlawfully discriminate. Any requirement connected to age, sex, disability, race, religion, family responsibilities or another protected attribute must be lawful and genuinely necessary.

Privacy and identity

Ask only for information reasonably needed at the current recruitment stage. Do not request banking credentials, account passwords, verification codes or identity documents through ApnaMate messages.

High-risk and prohibited roles

No illegal activity, sexual exploitation, money-mule work, reshipping scams, deceptive investment schemes, pyramid schemes or roles that require a worker to mislead or harm another person.
