Content and image moderation
ApnaMate combines proportionate automated checks, community reports and accountable human decisions. Private information is not published as part of moderation.
1. Prevention
Authentication controls, bot protection when configured, database-enforced creation limits and server-side permissions reduce automated abuse.
2. Automated checks
New Marketplace, Jobs and Rooms text is checked for a narrow set of high-risk scam and prohibited-content signals. A match flags content for human review; it does not create a public accusation.
3. Image and content queue
New listing text and uploaded image records enter a private moderation queue. Only authorised moderators can view internal reasons, notes and decisions.
4. User reports
Members can report listings, jobs, rooms, profiles, reviews and messages. Reporter identities and internal moderation notes are not shown to the reported user.
5. Review and action
Moderators can approve or reject queued content, remove content, restrict an account or dismiss a report. Actions are recorded. Content involving immediate danger, child safety or credible criminal conduct may be escalated to the appropriate authority.
6. Fairness
Context matters. ApnaMate avoids relying on keyword checks alone for a final adverse decision and may restore content removed in error.
